I finished reading this book right before Christmas in anticipation of my book club's meeting to watch the film adaption on DVD. I had heard from lots of people that this was a great book and I wasn't disappointed. This was a great book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It was eye-opening and even downright troubling at times, but that didn't detract from how well written it was. I got to the end and was disappointed--I wanted the story to go on so I could find out what happened to the characters.
I'm ready for the movie now! Have you read "The Help"? If so, what did you think?
