Nuevo Vallarta Rocks, part one.

Our family vacation was awesome. Everyone had a good time, the kids kept their whining to a minimal and no one got sick! We played in the pools and saw the ocean along with some really cool humpback whales and dolphins playing in the ocean. We ate lots and lots of yummy food--fresh seafood and spicy Mexican, yum! We had a really great time. See.....
On the day of our arrival, we had a few hours to wait for our room to be ready, so after eating something, we headed down to see the beach. It would be the only time we really got to spend there. The rest of the time the waves were rough and huge, coming up all the way to the steps.

Lindsay loves looking for seashells.

Kera wanted to build a sand castle.

The girls spent a ton of time in the various pools at our resort. There was a kiddie play area, a lazy river, a water slide, and two wave pools in addition to the five or so other smaller pools. They didn't miss the beach one bit. The cool thing was that none of the pools were over 4 feet tall!

Lindsay really got to be a pretty decent swimmer while we were there.

  1. Hi! You stopped by my blog (about the Tupperware) and left a nice note and I wanted to answer your question about where I bought them. I came to your blog and have enjoyed looking around! We've been to Nueva Vallarta as well - your hotel pool looks very similar to the one in all of our photos!

I bought the glass Pyrex "Tupperware" at Target. Surprisingly Wal-Mart didn't have the smaller ones for leftovers. I bought a 3 pack at Target and they totaled about $20.

    Have a great weekend!
