So what does it entail? Basically eating real food. Cutting out all the garbage that fills our kitchens and bellies on so many occasions but that doesn't really do anything for us. Filling up on lean meats, fish, eggs, tons of vegetables, a little fruit and some healthy fats. It's as simple as that. I figure I can do that for at least a month, you can do almost anything for 30 days. And once the month is over I will see how I feel and gauge it from there. This might be a lifestyle change, which is what is has been for tons of folks out there, but it might just be an experiment. I won't know until I try.
I am looking forward to the change it will bring. Part of the "Whole 30 Program" is giving yourself a break from being focused on the scale or measurements, and they want you to not weigh or measure yourself for the whole month as a way to focus more on how you feel. That just feels refreshing to me for some reason.
Hopefully I will be sharing about my experience with you on this little journey as I go!
Can't wait to hear how it goes!
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting. I am currently cutting out sugar and processed foods, as well as carbs. I am eating lean meat and a fruit and veggie at every meal. I am down 5lbs. in just 6 days! Wishing you the best of luck and I will be here to cheer you on!
