A is for Apple & Apparatus (for bike riding)

I helped out this morning with a field trip for Kera's preschool class. They went to the Fort for a apple cider demonstration in honor of the letter "a". That's the letter they are learning about now. It was cool to see the process of grinding up the apples then pressing the pieces til the juice comes out. I learned that the juice that comes from apples like that is actually cider, and then the juice you buy in the store is cider that's been cooked. I never knew that! :-)

Then, here are some cute pictures I caught the other day. We've been cracking down on the girls to wear their bike helmets when they ride around the driveway, and so Kera has taken to wearing hers even longer than that. She'll get it on and ride a bit and then run around the yard or even the house playing and still wearing it. I think she looks quite cute with that big ol' black thing on, so I took her picture the other day. Lindz was around and had to get in on the photo shoot action, too.

  2. Better she wear more than when she's riding than not at all, huh, Momma Kendra? ;-) You three are so cute!
