It is 5:23 a.m. I've already had my morning latte and my whole wheat english muffin with peanut butter. I've got my running clothes and trusty shoes on. I also have my red number "428" pinned to my shirt....
I'm waiting for my running buddy C to pick me up so we can head over to the start of the half-marathon, which is conveniently only 2 or so miles from my house.
My stomach is so fluttery you would not believe it and I can barely stand it. I just need to start so I can get to running!
