We recently spent an extended weekend with Erik's folks and his sister's family. Since his folks live within walking distance of Flathead Lake, we typically spend some time on or in the water when we hang out up there, especially this time of the summer when the water is finally warm enough to swim in. One day we took two boats, his father's sailboat and our Smoker-craft fishing boat, and anchored in a calm area off one of the islands. We ate picnic lunches and jumped into the lake. It was a beautiful day and a great way to spend it.
