I finished a couple more good books. It seems like that is all I've enjoyed doing with my free time lately. There isn't much on television that I feel like watching, so after the kiddos go to bed, I usually end up putting on my pj's and crawling into my own bed with a book. When I compare my choices for television entertainment and the books in my "to read" pile, it's a really easy win for the books. I don't know if that says something about the quality of television entertainment these days or if I just have some good books lined up.
Anyway, I am working my way through the Ranger's Apprentice series, and recently finished books 5 and 6.
Once again, Flanagan leaves us hanging at the end of Book 5 and resolves the big problem in Book 6. This is one series that makes me glad I have this thing about reading book series in order. It wouldn't have been much fun to read Book 5 after Book 6! I enjoyed these books just as much as the other four I'd already read. He does such a good job of entertaining. :-)
