I've only got a second or two...

Since my return from the lake its been nothing but busy-ness. Erik got home safely (yay!) and Lindsay started swimming lessons on Monday. That's been interesting--she really wanted to do them but since she started all she says is "I quit". Mainly because they are organized and she has to follow directions (which she doesn't like doing, ha!) and its not just fun and games. Yesterdays lesson had some Minnow/Shark game at the end that she enjoyed but she said the rest of the lesson wasn't fun. I've bribed her into finishing the lessons (there are only 4 total) with a bag of cheetos, we'll see if it works!

Thursday we're taking off to camp for the weekend -- up in the Rock Creek area. I'm really looking forward to it. It'll be our first time out this year so there's always some roughness to the first one; forgetting things or not being quite prepared, but thats okay. The area we're going is one of my favorites (the outhouse is a huge plus!) its got the great fishing for the guys, a little hiking for the rest of us and just a great campsite area. I'm looking forward to getting out and not having to do the normal house things. :-) But its keeping me busy getting ready for it, too!

A good friend is in town visiting and I get to have coffee with her today, I can't wait!! It has probably been a year since I saw her last so it will be great to catch up on everything. :-)

My mom invited me and the girls to go to some resort in Canada this August. She invited us in December and today, finally, E and I are headed to the post office to get Kera a passport. I am crossing my fingers that it will be back in time for our trip in about a month! I feel like a slacker for not getting it before now but we really keep forgetting and its tough to figure out a time when both of us can go so we can fill out the paperwork....so cross your fingers for me, please!!
